  The placement exam is created for the student to find out which is his/her level of German. There is one complete test that covers material from all of the five levels in the English course: A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1. Each portion of the test corresponding with a specific level includes a section on reading, writing, listening, grammar, and vocabulary and in the sections that cover levels B1, B2 and C1 there are also sections on pronunciation. The student should start the test from the beginning and continue working through the exercises until he/she can no longer answer questions or finish activities because the level has become too difficult. This will help determine at which level the student should begin his or her course of study.
